Ways to Reduce Stress At Night

Hello everyone! I'm sharing tips to reduce stress at night so you sleep better and have peace. Many of these tips are new to me as well but I am already noticing improvements in my mindset and stress levels!
1. Write in a journal 3 goals for the next day and 3 people/things that you are thankful for. Make sure that the goals aren't too vague or impossible to accomplish. For example, my goals might be to give a compliment to 3 of my friends, choose healthy foods, or drink more water. Writing three people that you are thankful for helps you reflect on your day and think about people that made you happy. This gives you time to reflect and be grateful for your loved ones!
2. Drink lots of water. Obviously, drinking water has tons of benefits but it's a good habit to always be drinking water!
3. Don't snack after dinner. Let your body digest your dinner and don't eat until breakfast. If you eat before you go to bed you will be up longer and it can make your body store more fat. If you are hungry before bed, go to bed or drink water. A lot of times when you feel like you are hungry you are actually just thirsty!
4. Don't be on your phone right before you go to bed. It's not good for your eyes to be staring at a screen before bed so try to rest your eyes before you go to bed!
5. Pray. Pray about the good and the bad in your life. You will be amazed at what prayers will be answered!
6. Do something without your phone. Read a book, draw, journal, do something without your computer or phone and relax!
