Give To Others This Season

It's that time of year! Christmas trees, sugar plums, candy canes, sleigh rides, and gifts! In my opinion, it is better to give rather than receive. Today I am sharing my top 5 favorite organizations where you can donate money to help someone or something in need!

Team Trees
Team Trees is raising money to plant 20 million trees by 2020! $1 = 1 tree. This is a great cause and they are planting the trees in a sustainable manner! Click here to donate.

Salvation Army
The Salvation Army hosts soup kitchens, thrift shops, and events for people in need. They provide for homeless people, veterans, people who have been affected by human trafficking, etc. They are a wonderful organization that provides food and service for people in need. Click here to donate.

The Humane Society
The Humane Society helps rescue animals, help find them homes, and treat them when sick. There are 12,932 animals in their care shelters right now and they need food, blankets, medicine, etc. Click here to donate to help the animals.

Generation Next
Generation Next is a non-profit organization that was founded by Riley Banks when she was 13 years old. She went to Kenya and saw how many of the children had no clothes, clean water, food, or even toothpaste. Now, she and her husband are building schools in Kenya and giving the children in Kenya hygiene packages, food, and clean water. Help her save children in Kenya by donating here.

Give Water
Give Water's mission is to allow people to have access to clean water and sanitation all around the world. Because of Give Water, 25 million people have received access to clean water and sanitation. Click here to help them with their cause!

If you don't have money to donate, go volunteer somewhere such as the salvation army or animal shelter!

Spread some love this Christmas season! Happy Holidays!
Love,
Gabby

  1. The humane society always needs kitten and puppy fosters. It is the best! You get to love them until they are old enough and big enough to be adopted, and then take them back to HS where they will find their forever families. Fosters are super important for socialization and the health of the kittens and puppies.
